Meet Us

If you are interested in training to teach or teaching with one of the 15 schools in the University of Academies Trust, we invite you to meet us at one of the local events listed below.

Our experienced staff, who run the training programmes or work in our schools, will do their best to answer any questions you may have. We find there’s nothing quite like having a chat in person!

Postgraduate Train to Teach open evening

Meet us at the University of Brighton Academies Trust exhibition stand at this informal event hosted by our sponsor the University of Brighton. The University’s School of Education is our School Direct partner and was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2018 for early years, primary and secondary initial teacher training. You’ll have the opportunity to listen to talks, take a tour of the specialist facilities for trainee teachers, and chat to the university’s finance team about postgraduate funding.

Date: Wednesday 15 May, 4.30pm-7.30pm
Location: Checkland Building, Falmer Campus, University of Brighton, Village Way, Brighton, BN1 9PH

Alternatively, if you can’t make these events please contact us for an informal discussion or email us.

These sessions for individuals interested in primary teacher training, will include an introductory presentation providing information on School Direct initial teacher training and other available routes; classroom experience sessions across the academy so that you can see what it is really like in the classroom and talk to the pupils; and information on how to apply and the course structure.
