Key worker declaration

Dear Parents and Carers

The Government has been clear that social distancing, including keeping children away from school, can have a significant impact in reducing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. It is therefore essential that if children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of spreading the virus to other families and teaching staff.

Summary:

  • If you can keep your child at home, you should
  • If either parent/carer is a key worker, and you cannot keep your children at home, there will be a place for them on Monday
  • If your child is vulnerable, and school is the best place for them, there will be a place for them on Monday
  • Please let us know via this form whether you are a key worker and intend to send your child to school, so that we can plan
  • Please do not send your child into school if they have a continuous cough or a high temperature

Please note that you should submit one form for every child attending our academies. This means that if you are responsible for two children (even if they attend the same academy), you should submit two separate forms.
