We are proud to share that The Burgess Hill Academy’s Year 7 and 8 students have raised over £2400 for ‘School in a Bag’, accumulating to a total of 120 bags for children around the world.
On Friday 29 April, The Baird were assessed to gain the accreditation for the award and was successfully achieved. This classifies The Baird with a self-validated healthy schools status and are proudly the first Trust Academy to achieve the award, being only the fifth in East Sussex.
The Ofsted report celebrates that “pupils are happy at school where they feel safe and are eager to learn” and states that "pupils are enthusiastic about contributing to school life."
